  1. Provide administrative support to the Foundation department, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and processing paperwork.
  2. Maintain accurate and organized records of donations, pledges, and other financial information.
  3. Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
  4. Communicate with donors and other stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Coordinate and track departmental expenses and budgetary information.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the Foundation department.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  8. Support the development and implementation of strategies to increase donations and support for the healthcare system's mission.
  9. Conduct research and provide reports on potential donors and fundraising opportunities.
  10. Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and requests related to the Foundation department.
  11. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by adhering to the company's values and promoting teamwork.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fundraising and donor relations.
  13. Assist with maintaining and updating the Foundation's social media presence.
  14. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Foundation department leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Clerical Coordinator - Foundation Position At Houston Methodist Is A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent. This Ensures A Basic Level Of Academic Knowledge And Proficiency In Communication And Organizational Skills.

  • Previous Clerical Experience: A Clerical Coordinator - Foundation Should Have Prior Experience In A Clerical Or Administrative Role. This Experience Would Include Tasks Such As Data Entry, Filing, And Managing Office Supplies. Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting Is Preferred.

  • Proficient In Computer Skills: The Job Of A Clerical Coordinator - Foundation Requires Proficiency In Computer Skills, Including Microsoft Office And Database Management. Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems Is Also Preferred.
