- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the cath lab, including but not limited to angiograms, fluoroscopy, and cardiac catheterizations.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, making adjustments as necessary to obtain optimal images.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all procedures and findings.
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols, ensuring the safety of patients and staff at all times.
- Assist with the training and supervision of new technologists and students.
- Stay current with advancements in technology and techniques in the field of radiology.
- Provide excellent patient care, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing clear instructions and answering any questions or concerns.

Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field
Current Arrt Certification In Radiography And Cardiovascular-Interventional (Cv) Technology
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As A Cath Lab Technologist, Preferably In A Hospital Setting
Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Specialized Imaging Equipment, Such As Digital Subtraction Angiography And Intravascular Ultrasound
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology Related To Cardiovascular Procedures, As Well As A Thorough Understanding Of Radiation Safety Protocols In The Cath Lab Setting.
