
Business Analyst - Population Health

- Collaborate with various departments within Houston Methodist to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in healthcare outcomes.
- Utilize data and analytics to analyze and evaluate healthcare data, identifying trends and patterns to improve population health management.
- Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to provide insights to key stakeholders and support decision-making processes.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform strategic initiatives and projects related to population health management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and present findings and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in population health management and data analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure access to relevant data and tools for population health management.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Mentor and train junior team members on data analysis techniques and tools and provide guidance on projects.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current processes and make recommendations for improvements.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Population Health Management Or Data Analysis In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Industry Trends And Regulations Related To Population Health.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Communicate Complex Data To Stakeholders.
Proficiency In Data Analysis Tools And Software, Such As Sql, Tableau, Or Sas, And Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems.
