Birth Registrar- PRN

We are seeking a Birth Registrar- PRN to join the team at Houston Methodist! This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of birth records, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a commitment to accuracy and a passion for providing exceptional service. 1. Maintain complete and accurate birth records in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
2. Ensure that all patient information is gathered, entered, and updated in a timely manner.
3. Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of birth records.
5. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
6. Manage the collection and submission of birth certificates and other required documents.
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
8. Assist with training and onboarding new staff members.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process improvement projects.
10. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas of improvement.
