
Biomed Equipment Tech II

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of biomedical equipment, including but not limited to: patient monitoring systems, diagnostic equipment, and therapeutic devices.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols while performing maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to address equipment issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Train and educate clinical staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and industry standards to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and external service providers for equipment maintenance and repair.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours equipment emergencies.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Contribute to departmental projects and initiatives to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and staff members.

Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Maintaining And Repairing Biomedical Equipment In A Healthcare Setting.
Associate's Degree Or Higher In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field.
Certification From The International Certification Commission For Clinical Engineering And Biomedical Technology (Icc) Or Equivalent.
Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Electrical And Electronic Principles, And Troubleshooting Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.
