  1. Provide technical support for various applications used in the research and education initiatives of Houston Methodist.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the functionality, performance, and usability of the applications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any technical challenges or obstacles in the applications.
  4. Monitor the performance and stability of the applications and take proactive measures to ensure smooth functioning.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for the applications, including user guides, technical specifications, and troubleshooting manuals.
  6. Assist in the implementation of new applications or upgrades to existing applications, including testing, training, and user support.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the healthcare industry, and make recommendations for incorporating them into the applications.
  8. Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and provide solutions that improve their experience with the applications.
  9. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of applications.
  10. Participate in team meetings, share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the department.
  11. Adhere to all data security and privacy protocols, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize and improve the performance of the applications, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert for the applications and provide training and support to colleagues and end-users as needed.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates, escalate issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and delivering high-quality services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Application Support And Troubleshooting In A Healthcare Or Educational Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Research And Education Technology Systems, Such As Electronic Medical Records, Clinical Research Databases, And Learning Management Systems.

  • Experience With Project Management And Implementation Of New Technology Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Variety Of Stakeholders And Provide Training And Support To End Users.
