1. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functionality and availability for surgical procedures.
2. Collaborate with the anesthesia team to assist in the administration of anesthesia to patients.
3. Monitor patient vital signs and assist in the maintenance of patient airways during procedures.
4. Anticipate and respond to the needs of the anesthesia team and surgical staff.
5. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records.
6. Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
7. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
8. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the pre-operative and post-operative periods.
