- Lead and oversee the Allergy and Immunology program at Houston Methodist.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative curriculum for the program.
- Work closely with the team of physicians, researchers, and educators to ensure the program meets the highest standards of excellence.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees, including residents and fellows, to support their growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity and cultural competence.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of Allergy and Immunology and incorporate them into the program.
- Promote and facilitate research opportunities for trainees and participate in research projects.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards for the program.

Medical Degree And Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Medical Degree (Md Or Do) And Be Board Certified In Allergy And Immunology. This Ensures The Individual Has The Necessary Knowledge And Training To Oversee And Teach In The Program.
Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In The Field Of Allergy And Immunology Is Typically Required For This Position. This Ensures The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of The Field And Can Effectively Train And Mentor Residents And Fellows.
Academic Credentials: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Strong Academic Background, With A History Of Research And Publication In The Field Of Allergy And Immunology. This Demonstrates A Commitment To Academic Excellence And The Ability To Contribute To The Program's Scholarly Activities.
