
Administrative Assistant- Cardio Clinic
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Cardio Clinic team at Houston Methodist. The successful candidate will be a highly organized professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential. This position requires an individual who is committed to providing exceptional customer service and who can maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role, with a strong background in customer service and a proven track record of successful administrative support. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications and the ability to quickly learn and master new software tools. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond to changing priorities are also essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily administrative tasks for the Cardio Clinic staff, including scheduling appointments, filing paperwork, and answering customer inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite applications to create reports, documents, and presentations.
- Quickly learn and master new software tools.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Support the team with administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, etc.
- Greet visitors and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor and order office supplies.
- Ensure the office is maintained in a neat and organized manner.
