Purchasing Manager

Manage the procurement of non-merchandise products and services, supplies, maintenance contracts and capital equipment/fixtures. Negotiate with existing and new sources to ensure optimal pricing, order quantities, service levels, quality specifications and inventory targets are attained. Review and release purchase orders including PO revisions and vendor management. Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for compliance with the Company’s operating policies and procedures. Provide analysis of RFP responses for management review including pricing models, cost/price analysis, and return on investment. You'll serve as a liaison between departments and vendors and ensure a smooth process. Develop and implement purchasing guidelines that ensure we are procuring materials at market prices or below. Develop policies and procedures and ensures department compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. While you’re at it, you’ll also develop product/service specifications for vendor compliance. Oversee the implementation of store special projects and ensures deadlines are met.
