Yard Hostler

At HOKA, we are looking for a Yard Hostler who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Site Manager, the Yard Hostler will be responsible for moving trailers in and out of the yard, as well as organizing and maintaining the yard. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driver’s license, experience operating yard hostlers, and a strong work ethic. The successful Yard Hostler will have excellent communication and problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

1. Move trailers in and out of the yard in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Organize and maintain the yard in a neat and orderly fashion.
3. Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager.
4. Maintain a valid driver’s license.
5. Exercise strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Provide exceptional customer service.
7. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
8. Adhere to all rules, regulations, and policies.
9. Operate yard hostlers in a safe and efficient manner.
10. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
