The successful candidate must have a minimum of five years of experience in a cost management role, with a strong knowledge of apparel and accessories costing and production management. 2. Develop and implement innovative cost-cutting initiatives and strategies.
3. Monitor and control costs, while ensuring quality standards are met.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost optimization solutions are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
5. Analyze cost trends and market conditions to identify areas of risk and opportunity.
6. Develop and maintain accurate costing models and reports.
7. Manage relationships with outside vendors and suppliers.
8. Monitor production timelines and ensure cost targets are met.
9. Provide technical support and expertise to other departments, as needed.
10. Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices.
