We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced U.S. Public Sector Counsel to join the Hewlett-Packard/HP team. This individual will be responsible for providing legal advice and counsel to the HP U.S. public sector business in a variety of areas, including contract review and negotiation, intellectual property, and compliance. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and legal drafting skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the legal aspects of the public sector. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and counsel to the HP U.S. public sector business in a variety of areas, including contract review and negotiation, intellectual property, and compliance.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Utilize excellent communication and legal drafting skills to ensure accurate and effective legal advice.
Stay up to date on applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Understand and adhere to all relevant ethical and legal considerations.
Utilize strong problem-solving skills to devise creative solutions to legal issues.
Provide outstanding customer service and support in a timely and professional manner.
Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to ensure the team is kept informed on the latest developments in the public sector.
