
Software Account Executive - Federal/Public Sector
Hewlett-Packard/HP is looking for an experienced, motivated, and results-oriented Software Account Executive - Federal/Public Sector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively driving the identification, qualification, and closure of software opportunities within the Federal and Public Sector market. You will be a part of a team focused on increasing HP's presence and market share in the Federal/Public Sector market.We are seeking a candidate who has a strong track record of success in driving software sales and is passionate about the Federal/Public Sector market. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of software sales, a deep understanding of the Federal/Public Sector market, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies for driving software sales within the Federal/Public Sector market.
- Identify, qualify, and close software opportunities with C-Level executives within the Federal/Public Sector market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders within the Federal/Public Sector market.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and knowledge of competitive offerings.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and recommend strategies to increase HP's presence and market share.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track sales opportunities and activities.
- Lead, coordinate, and participate in customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to customers.
- Lead negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders to close sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to deliver solutions to customers.
