- Develop and implement strategies for advanced threat detection and response, in alignment with the company's overall cybersecurity goals and objectives.
- Conduct in-depth threat analysis and research to identify and understand emerging and advanced cyber threats.
- Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers in monitoring and responding to advanced threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, risk management, and business units, to ensure effective communication and coordination in responding to cyber incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advanced threat intelligence and security technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential areas of risk in the organization's systems and networks.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures and ensure they are regularly tested and updated.
- Coordinate and lead incident response efforts during cyber attacks, including containment, eradication, and recovery phases.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the organization's cyber threat landscape and response efforts.
- Mentor and train junior members of the cybersecurity team on advanced threat detection and response techniques.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to advanced threat detection and response.
- Act as a subject matter expert on advanced cyber threats and share knowledge and best practices with the broader cybersecurity community.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of advanced threat detection and response processes and make recommendations for improvement.
Extensive Experience In Threat Intelligence And Analysis: A Senior Advanced Threat Lead At Hp Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Threat Intelligence Sources, Techniques, And Tools. They Should Also Have Experience In Analyzing And Interpreting Threat Data To Identify Potential Risks And Vulnerabilities.
