Monitor and analyze security events and incidents in HPE Private Cloud environments.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for HPE Private Cloud environments.
Implement security controls and measures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and recommend remediation actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security issues and concerns.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices to continuously improve the security posture of HPE Private Cloud environments.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation actions.
Manage and maintain security tools and technologies used in HPE Private Cloud environments.
Provide recommendations and guidance to improve security processes and procedures.
Document security incidents, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
Mentor and train junior security team members.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of HPE Private Cloud environments.
Communicate and report on security incidents and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
Continuously evaluate and enhance the security posture of HPE Private Cloud environments.

Job Qualifications

Experience With Hpe Private Cloud Environments: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise's Private Cloud Environments, Including Hpe Helion, Hpe Onesphere, And Hpe Simplivity. This Knowledge Should Include Hands-On Experience With Implementation, Management, And Troubleshooting Of These Environments.
Knowledge Of Security Best Practices: The Security Operations Engineer Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Security Best Practices And Industry Standards. This Includes Knowledge Of Network Security, Encryption, Access Controls, And Vulnerability Management.
Strong Technical Skills: Candidates Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Areas Such As Networking, Virtualization, And Storage. They Should Also Have Experience With Scripting And Automation Tools, Such As Powershell, Python, Or Ansible.
Experience With Incident Response And Threat Management: The Security Operations Engineer Should Have Experience With Incident Response Procedures And Threat Management Techniques. This Includes The Ability To Detect, Analyze, And Respond To Security Incidents In A Timely And Effective Manner.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Key Member Of The Security Team, The Security Operations Engineer Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Should Be Able To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
