Job Description

The Privacy Specialist at Hewlett-Packard/HP is a critical member of the team, responsible for safeguarding customer and company data against potential threats. We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for privacy and a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements for data protection. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, and have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and protocols that comply with applicable privacy regulations and standards.
  2. Monitor trends in privacy laws and regulations, and advise management of necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  3. Oversee the development of privacy training and compliance programs.
  4. Lead privacy audits and investigations, and coordinate with external auditors and law enforcement as necessary.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential privacy risks.
  6. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints related to privacy.
  7. Advise management on all aspects of privacy policy and practice.
  8. Remain current on industry developments and best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science
