Job Description

Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of firmware, including application and driver level code. Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues. Develops understanding of and relationship with local and worldwide development partners on firmware design and development. Participates as a member of project team of firmware engineers to develop innovative, reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions enterprise class printing products. Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on firmware design and development. Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk. Provides domain-specific expertise and overall firmware leadership and perspective to cross- organization projects, programs, and activities.

Job Qualifications

Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
4-6 years’ recent networking experience and 6-10 years firmware development experience
Understanding of firmware and hardware design principles.
Expertise of networking protocols (TCP, IPv4, IPv6, TLS, IPSec, tracing and diagnostic tools)
