- Conduct thorough and efficient investigations into potential legal violations within the Asia, Pacific, and Japan region.
- Work closely with regional legal teams to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective strategies and processes for mitigating legal risks within the region.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to senior leadership on complex regional legal issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve legal and compliance issues.
- Stay updated on changing laws and regulations within the region and ensure company policies and procedures are in line with them.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies in the region.
- Train and educate employees on legal compliance and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior leadership regarding legal and compliance matters in the region.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for potential business partners within the region.
- Ensure all investigations are conducted with integrity and in accordance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Provide support to other regions or departments as needed for legal and compliance matters.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in investigations and legal compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Law Degree From An Accredited University Or Equivalent Legal Qualification.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting Investigations, Preferably In The Asia Pacific And Japan Region.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Regional Laws And Regulations Pertaining To Corporate Investigations.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Think Critically And Make Sound Judgments.
Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With External Stakeholders.
