Job Description

As an Inventory, Excess, and Obsolescence Management Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory levels are optimized and our excess and obsolete materials are properly managed.   1. Conduct regular inventory audits to accurately track and manage all materials and products.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess and obsolete materials.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inventory.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and alert management of any potential shortages or overages.
  5. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory counts.
  6. Assist in developing and maintaining inventory management systems and processes.
  7. Analyze data and generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends.
  8. Help manage and dispose of excess and obsolete materials in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  9. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance inventory management skills.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any inventory-related issues.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
  12. Continuously identify and propose improvements to streamline inventory processes and increase efficiency.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and transactions.
  14. Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols for inventory storage and handling.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the inventory management team.
