- Lead and manage all emergency and crisis situations within the company, including natural disasters, security threats, and other incidents.
- Develop and implement procedures and protocols for responding to emergencies, ensuring the safety and security of all employees and customers.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to create and maintain a comprehensive incident response plan.
- Conduct regular training and drills to prepare employees for emergency situations and ensure a quick and effective response.
- Monitor and assess potential risks and threats to the company and proactively implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all emergency response teams and external agencies, such as law enforcement and fire departments.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders, providing timely updates and instructions during emergency situations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to incident management and implement necessary changes to improve the company's response capabilities.
- Identify and address any gaps or weaknesses in the incident response plan and make recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all incidents and responses, including post-incident analysis and recommendations for future prevention.
- Remain calm and level-headed in high-stress situations and make critical decisions quickly and efficiently.
- Foster a culture of safety and security within the company, promoting awareness and preparedness among employees.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to other members of the incident response team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Leadership Skills: The Incident Commander Must Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Direct The Response To Any Incident Or Crisis At Hewlett-Packard/Hp. This Includes The Ability To Make Quick And Effective Decisions, Delegate Tasks, And Maintain A Calm And Organized Presence During High-Stress Situations.
Crisis Management Experience: This Role Requires Experience In Crisis Management, Including Developing And Implementing Emergency Response Plans, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Coordinating With External Agencies And Stakeholders. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Large-Scale Incidents.
Technical Knowledge: The Incident Commander Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Hewlett-Packard/Hp's Technical Infrastructure, Systems, And Processes.
