  1. Lead and manage all emergency and crisis situations within the company, including natural disasters, security threats, and other incidents.
  2. Develop and implement procedures and protocols for responding to emergencies, ensuring the safety and security of all employees and customers.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and teams to create and maintain a comprehensive incident response plan.
  4. Conduct regular training and drills to prepare employees for emergency situations and ensure a quick and effective response.
  5. Monitor and assess potential risks and threats to the company and proactively implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
  6. Serve as the primary point of contact for all emergency response teams and external agencies, such as law enforcement and fire departments.
  7. Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders, providing timely updates and instructions during emergency situations.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to incident management and implement necessary changes to improve the company's response capabilities.
  9. Identify and address any gaps or weaknesses in the incident response plan and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all incidents and responses, including post-incident analysis and recommendations for future prevention.
  11. Remain calm and level-headed in high-stress situations and make critical decisions quickly and efficiently.
  12. Foster a culture of safety and security within the company, promoting awareness and preparedness among employees.
  13. Serve as a role model and mentor to other members of the incident response team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Leadership Skills: The Incident Commander Must Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Direct The Response To Any Incident Or Crisis At Hewlett-Packard/Hp. This Includes The Ability To Make Quick And Effective Decisions, Delegate Tasks, And Maintain A Calm And Organized Presence During High-Stress Situations.

  • Crisis Management Experience: This Role Requires Experience In Crisis Management, Including Developing And Implementing Emergency Response Plans, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Coordinating With External Agencies And Stakeholders. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Large-Scale Incidents.

  • Technical Knowledge: The Incident Commander Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Hewlett-Packard/Hp's Technical Infrastructure, Systems, And Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of It Networks, Security Protocols, And Communication Systems, As Well As Familiarity With The Company's Products And Services.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role, As The Incident Commander Will Be Responsible For Disseminating Critical Information To Various Stakeholders, Including Employees, Senior Management, And External Partners. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential, As Well As The Ability To Adapt Communication Style To Different Audiences.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The Incident Commander Must Be A Strategic Thinker With Strong Problem-Solving Skills. This Includes The Ability To Assess Complex Situations, Identify Potential Risks And Threats, And Develop Effective Solutions To Mitigate Them.
