As the Site Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our HPC systems, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.   1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the HPC systems at the HP site.
  2. Ensure the proper functioning and performance of the HPC systems, identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  3. Implement and maintain best practices for the operation, maintenance, and security of the HPC systems.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the HPC systems.
  5. Train and mentor team members on the operation and maintenance of the HPC systems.
  6. Monitor and report on the performance and utilization of the HPC systems, providing recommendations for optimization.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to ensure successful delivery of HPC solutions.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in HPC technology, and make recommendations for incorporating new tools and techniques into the HPC systems.
  9. Manage and track the budget for the HPC systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  10. Serve as a point of contact for any escalations or critical incidents related to the HPC systems, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  11. Maintain documentation and records related to the HPC systems, including system configurations, maintenance schedules, and incident reports.
  12. Lead and participate in regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on the status and progress of the HPC systems.
  13. Collaborate with other Site Leads and HPC experts within HP to share knowledge and best practices.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for HPC systems.
  15. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures related to the operation and maintenance of HPC systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Hpc: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding And Extensive Experience In The Field Of High Performance Computing. This Includes Knowledge Of Hpc Hardware, Software, And Networking Technologies.

  • Technical Proficiency: The Hpc Site Lead Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Proficient In Various Programming Languages, Operating Systems, And Hpc Tools. They Should Also Have Experience With Cluster Management And Job Scheduling Systems.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As An Onsite Lead, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Project Management Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Manage Project Timelines, And Make Strategic Decisions To Meet Project Goals.

  • Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Abilities: Hpc Systems Are Complex And Require A High Level Of Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Identifying And Resolving System Issues In A Timely Manner.

  • Customer Service Orientation: The Hpc Site Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing And Maintaining Relationships With Customers, Both Internal And External. They Should Have Excellent Customer Service Skills And Be Able To Provide Technical Support And Solutions To Meet Customer Needs.
