
Inventory Planner
Hermès International is looking for an experienced Inventory Planner to join our team and help drive the success of our luxury retail business. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fashion and a strong understanding of global inventory management and forecasting. The Inventory Planner will be responsible for ensuring our stores have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right times.To be successful in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of retail inventory management principles and experience using forecasting software. You should possess exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills and an eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an inventory management system to ensure stock levels meet customer demand and store needs.
- Analyze sales and market trends to forecast product demand and plan inventory accordingly.
- Monitor stock levels and accurately report on inventory levels.
- Place orders for new stock and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage re-order levels and stock returns.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability.
- Monitor inventory costs and identify potential areas of savings.
- Monitor stock levels and provide accurate reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
