
Communications and Events Specialist
This individual will develop and maintain the Latinx Project website, social media, newsletters and other communications channels. Research and develop relevant articles and stories about Latinx art, history, culture, news, etc. for distribution through various communications channels. Identify creative ways to generate user content. Monitor Latinx related conversations in social media. Work closely with the Latinx Project’s team to bring to fruition a range of programs, panels, exhibitions, and events hosted by the Latinx Project. Liaise with artists, academics, and speakers. Manage event and meeting calendars.
2+ years experience in marketing, communications, Latinx Studies or related
Demonstrated proficiency in developing content and analyzing metrics for Social Media platforms
Working knowledge of the Latinx Studies academic field, art, culture, history, and beyond.
Working knowledge of Squarespace
Indesign
