  1. Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients and residents based on their specific dietary needs and restrictions.
  2. Conduct regular assessments of patients' and residents' nutritional status and make appropriate recommendations for dietary modifications.
  3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients and residents.
  4. Educate patients, residents, and their families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits to promote overall well-being.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate new knowledge into practice.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient and resident nutrition assessments, interventions, and progress.
  8. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations when handling and preparing food for patients and residents.
  9. Collaborate with food service staff to ensure that meals and snacks meet the nutritional requirements and preferences of patients and residents.
  10. Attend and participate in team meetings and trainings to contribute to the overall improvement of patient and resident care.
  11. Comply with all ethical and professional standards set forth by relevant governing bodies.
  12. Display a positive and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, residents, and their families.
  13. Continuously assess and improve upon personal and professional development to enhance job performance and contribute to the growth of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited College Or University.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Food Service Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Nutrition Principles And Ability To Develop And Implement Individualized Meal Plans For Patients Or Residents.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Team Members And Effectively Educate And Counsel Patients On Nutrition And Dietary Needs.
