
Dining Services - Manager in Training

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the dining services department.
- Ensure that meals are prepared and served according to proper food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of clients while also considering their dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure they are delivering high-quality services and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available for meal preparation and service.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to dining services, including meal counts, inventory, and budget.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the dining program to meet the changing needs and preferences of clients.
- Ensure that all staff members follow company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the dining services team, addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the dining experience for clients.
- Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating dining services team members as needed.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Work closely with the management team to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Maintain a safe and clean dining environment for clients and staff.
Experience In Food Service Management: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Strong Background In Managing Food Service Operations, Including Menu Planning, Ordering, And Inventory Management.
Knowledge Of Dietary Restrictions And Nutritional Guidelines: A Successful Dining Services Manager In Training Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Dietary Restrictions And Nutritional Guidelines, Particularly In A Healthcare Setting.
Leadership Skills: This Position Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Dining Service Employees, Including Training And Overseeing Their Work. Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role Is Preferred.
Customer Service Skills: The Dining Services Manager In Training Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That Patients, Residents, And Guests Are Satisfied With Their Dining Experience. Strong Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Handle Complaints And Provide Solutions, Are Essential.
