  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive dietary program that meets the specific needs and requirements of each healthcare facility we serve.
  2. Oversee and manage all aspects of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service.
  3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to food handling, sanitation, and infection control.
  4. Train and supervise dietary staff to ensure they are providing high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care to patients and residents.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and address any dietary concerns or special dietary needs of patients and residents.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, and manage budget and expenses for the dietary department.
  7. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the dietary department.
  8. Stay informed about current trends, research, and developments in the field of nutrition and dietary management, and implement best practices into our program.
  9. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for dietary staff, and promote teamwork and collaboration.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of dietary services, including resident/patient dietary information and dietary staff training records.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the dietary department and other departments within the healthcare facility.
  12. Continually evaluate and improve the dietary program to meet the changing needs and preferences of patients and residents.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, residents, and their families to address any dietary concerns or questions.
  14. Represent Healthcare Services Group in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Qualification Is A Must For This Role. This Certification Ensures That The Individual Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Manage A Dietary Program In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Experience In Healthcare Food Service: Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience Working In Food Service Within A Healthcare Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations, Menu Planning, And Special Dietary Requirements.

  • Leadership Skills: A Certified Dietary Manager Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Dietary Staff. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Training And Guidance, And Handle Any Conflicts That May Arise.

  • Knowledge Of Nutrition And Special Diets: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Nutrition And Special Diets, Including Those For Patients With Diabetes, Food Allergies, And Other Medical Conditions. This Knowledge Is Essential In Creating Menus That Meet The Specific Dietary Needs Of Patients.

  • Communication And Organizational Skills: A Certified Dietary Manager Must Have Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills To Effectively Manage The Dietary Program. This Includes Communicating With Patients, Healthcare Staff, And Vendors, As Well As Maintaining Accurate Records And Inventory Management.
