
UAS Program Manager

- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for the UAS program in alignment with company objectives and goals.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the UAS program, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with regulations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, such as department managers and field personnel, to ensure the successful integration of UAS technology into utility operations.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as regulatory agencies and UAS vendors, to stay current on industry developments and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage a team of UAS operators and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor program performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols to ensure the safe and responsible use of UAS technology.
- Communicate program updates and progress to company leadership and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on UAS regulations, industry trends, and advancements in technology to inform decision-making and program strategy.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the UAS program team.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to showcase the UAS program and share best practices with other organizations.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment within the UAS program team and across departments.
- Proactively identify and address any challenges or obstacles to the successful implementation of the UAS program.
- Uphold the company's commitment to sustainability and community by incorporating these principles into the UAS program.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Aviation Management, Engineering, Or Business Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Uas Operations, Preferably In The Utility Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Faa Regulations And Guidelines Related To Uas Operations.
Proven Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Uas Operators And Technicians.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders Within The Company, As Well As External Uas Vendors And Regulatory Agencies.
