  1. Provide legal support and guidance to the company's business operations in the energy industry.
  2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to the company's transactions.
  4. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions in contracts and agreements on behalf of the company.
  5. Advise and assist in the development of strategic plans and initiatives for the company's transactional activities.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
  7. Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in laws and regulations related to transactional law.
  8. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to transactional matters, as needed.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and business teams.
  10. Mentor and train junior legal team members on transactional law matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Active License To Practice Law In The State Of Hawaii

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Corporate Transactional Law, Preferably In The Energy Industry

  • Extensive Knowledge Of State And Federal Energy Regulations And Laws

  • Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Draft And Review Complex Contracts And Legal Documents
