1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining facilities, including dining halls, kitchens, and storage areas.
2. Assist with the preparation and serving of food, ensuring that all food items are properly labeled, stored, and rotated.
3. Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of all dining guests.
4. Monitor and replenish dining supplies, such as utensils, plates, and napkins, throughout meal periods.
5. Clear and clean tables and dining areas promptly to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
6. Support the dining services team by assisting with dishwashing, food prep, and other tasks as needed.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, communicating any issues or concerns to management.
8. Provide exceptional customer service to all dining guests, responding to their needs and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
9. Assist with special events and catered functions, ensuring timely and accurate setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and other equipment.
10. Adhere to all college and department policies and procedures, including but not limited to dress code, attendance, and safety guidelines.
11. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and offer suggestions to enhance the dining experience for all guests.
12. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, representing the college and dining services in a professional manner.
13. Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings to stay informed of any changes or updates to dining policies and procedures.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall functioning of the dining services department.
