Library Service Specialist

This position is responsible for the end-to-end customer service experience by connecting customers with the information they seek, performing circulation tasks, supporting innovative programs, demonstrating knowledge on all library operations, delivering an exceptional customer service experience, and exemplifying the high standards and expectations of the library system in its daily operations and services. Provides circulation and basic reference service within and beyond our walls. Promotes library services to the community. Accurately enters data, manages sensitive customer information, and handles cash transactions. Maintains and promotes an engaging and attractive library collection. Attends staff meetings, activities, and/or professional conferences, and actively serves on committees.
