
Assistant Manager Grocery
Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures. Assists the Grocery Manager with the successful operation of the grocery, frozen, dairy and natural and specialty foods departments. Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided by the grocery, frozen, dairy and natural and specialty foods departments. Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the grocery, frozen, dairy and natural and specialty foods departments. Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items Ensures the store is cleaned daily and meets the company standards for appearance.Delivers excellent customer service to all customers. Receives, stores and stocks a wide variety of products for the grocery, frozen, dairy and natural and specialty foods departments. Orders product to meet the needs of the grocery departments based on past and projected sales. Pulls out of date product from the shelves. Builds end-cap and other special product displays Assists Grocery Manager and Store Director with the successful operation of the store. Communicates openly and frequently with Grocery Manager, Store Director and Sales Directors.
Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
Must obtain Harmons Forklift Certification
5 years of grocery or other retail experience preferred
