Sourcing Specialist

Harbor Freight Tools is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with vendors to ensure that our company obtains the highest quality products at the best prices. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across departments. 1. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure that Harbor Freight Tools obtains the highest quality products at the best prices.
2. Negotiate with vendors to obtain favorable terms and prices.
3. Analyze and interpret data to identify cost savings opportunities and make sound decisions.
4. Monitor the global sourcing market to stay informed of new methods and techniques.
5. Prepare and present reports to upper management, as needed.
6. Ensure that contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures.
7. Work collaboratively with other departments to identify and address potential issues.
8. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications for sourcing and procurement activities.
