  1. Ensure shelves are fully stocked with merchandise at all times.
  2. Receive and process merchandise shipments in a timely manner.
  3. Accurately and efficiently stock merchandise on shelves and in designated areas.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or overages to management.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  6. Assist customers in locating products and provide excellent customer service.
  7. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize merchandise.
  8. Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  9. Collaborate with coworkers and management to efficiently complete tasks and meet goals.
  10. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers.
  11. Report any damaged or defective merchandise to management.
  12. Maintain accurate records of inventory and restock levels.
  13. Continuously monitor and adjust stocking processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Contribute to a positive and welcoming work environment.

  • Previous Retail Or Stocking Experience: A Qualified Candidate For A Retail Stocking Associate Position At Harbor Freight Tools Should Have Prior Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Responsibilities And Expectations Of The Job.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Retail Stocking Involves Quickly Restocking Shelves, Handling Inventory, And Assisting Customers. A Candidate Should Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced Environment And Efficiently Complete Tasks Under Pressure.

  • Physical Stamina And Strength: Retail Stocking Associates Are Required To Lift And Move Heavy Items, Stand For Long Periods, And Perform Physically Demanding Tasks. A Qualified Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Retail Stocking Associate, One Must Pay Close Attention To Detail To Ensure That Products Are Accurately Stocked, Displayed, And Priced. This Involves Checking For Damaged Or Expired Items, Accurately Labeling Products, And Maintaining A Neat And Organized Store Environment.

  • Customer Service Skills: While Stocking Shelves Is The Primary Responsibility Of This Role, Retail Stocking Associates Also Interact With Customers On The Sales Floor. Having Strong Customer Service Skills And The Ability To Assist Customers With Their Inquiries And Purchases Is Essential For Success In This Position.
