Additionally, you must have at least 4 years of experience in a patent law firm, or have worked as a patent agent in-house. You must be authorized to practice in front of the USPTO and have a thorough understanding of patent law and the patent prosecution process. Our ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Advise teams on changes in patent law and provide assistance with the patent prosecution process.
2. Monitor and analyze developments in patent law and advise teams accordingly.
3. Represent Harbor Freight Tools in patent litigation and other legal proceedings.
4. Prepare and file patent applications with the USPTO.
5. Conduct patentability searches and prepare patentability opinions.
6. Analyze and review patent applications and patents for validity, enforceability, and infringement.
7. Research and analyze technical information related to patent applications.
8. Create and maintain patent files and records.
9. Liaise with inventors, attorneys, and other relevant stakeholders.
10. Stay abreast of changes in patent law and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
