
Facilities Manager

- Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management plan to ensure the safety and functionality of all Harbor Freight Tools locations.
- Oversee all maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building upkeep.
- Monitor and maintain building systems, including fire and security alarms, to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs and maintenance services.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any potential hazards or issues and address them promptly.
- Create and manage budgets for facility maintenance and repair costs.
- Train and supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and agencies to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Keep records of all maintenance and repair activities and provide regular reports to upper management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve facility operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and finance, to ensure all facilities meet the needs of employees and customers.
- Oversee the implementation of sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices in facility management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure Harbor Freight Tools facilities are up to industry standards.
- Address and resolve any facility-related issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the facilities management team.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facilities Management, Preferably In A Retail Or Warehouse Environment.
Excellent Project Management And Budgeting Skills.
Strong Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Osha Compliance.
Ability To Lead And Manage A Team, As Well As Work Collaboratively With Other Departments And Contractors.
