
Facilities Manager

As a Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our stores and distribution centers are running smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. - Oversee the maintenance and operation of all Harbor Freight Tools facilities nationwide.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective facility management.
- Manage and maintain budgets for facility maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with store managers and distribution center leaders to address any facility-related concerns.
- Hire, train, and supervise facility maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for repairs and renovations.
- Keep detailed records of all facility maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on facility operations and any necessary improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in facilities management.
- Conduct performance evaluations for facility staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the facility management team.
- Ensure all facilities are clean, well-maintained, and presentable to customers.
- Other duties as assigned by upper management.
Extensive Knowledge Of Building Maintenance And Repair Techniques, Including Plumbing, Electrical, And Hvac Systems.
Proven Experience In Managing And Supervising A Team Of Maintenance And Custodial Staff.
Strong Organizational Skills And The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Projects Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders, Including Vendors, Contractors, And Company Employees.
Familiarity With Safety Regulations And Protocols, As Well As Experience In Developing And Implementing Emergency Preparedness Plans.
