Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team and help us maintain our facilities to the highest standards. As our Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of our stores and warehouses. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized individual with strong leadership skills to oversee our facilities operations.   1. Oversee and manage all facilities operations for Harbor Freight Tools stores and warehouses.
  2. Ensure the safety and functionality of all facilities, including regular maintenance, repairs, and updates.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  4. Monitor and maintain compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes.
  5. Manage a team of maintenance and cleaning staff, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations.
  6. Create and manage budgets for facilities maintenance and repairs.
  7. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and repairs.
  8. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify areas for improvement or repair.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and procurement, to ensure facilities are meeting their needs.
  10. Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans to ensure the safety of employees and customers in the event of a crisis.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in facilities management.
  12. Communicate regularly with upper management on the status of facilities operations and any issues that may arise.
  13. Serve as a point of contact for any facilities-related concerns or requests from employees.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the facilities team.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
