1. Oversee the maintenance and operations of all Harbor Freight Tools facilities, including stores, warehouses, and corporate offices.
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management plan to ensure all facilities are operating at optimal levels.
3. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance or safety issues and address them in a timely manner.
4. Manage and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities, including building systems, equipment, and grounds.
5. Create and maintain a budget for facility maintenance and repair expenses.
6. Collaborate with department managers to understand their facility needs and provide support and solutions.
7. Hire and oversee the work of contractors and service providers for facility repairs and maintenance.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
10. Train and supervise facility staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a high standard of work.
11. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility maintenance and repair.
12. Implement and maintain energy efficiency practices to reduce costs and promote sustainability.
13. Remain current on industry trends and best practices to continually improve facility management processes.
14. Communicate regularly with upper management on facility updates, issues, and proposed solutions.
15. Uphold the values and mission of Harbor Freight Tools and act as a representative for the company to external parties.
