In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores, warehouses, and other facilities are operating at their best to support our mission of delivering value to our customers.   1. Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all Harbor Freight Tools facilities nationwide.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve facility operations and reduce costs.
  3. Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
  4. Manage and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services.
  5. Monitor and manage budgets for facility maintenance and repairs.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any potential issues or hazards.
  7. Coordinate with store managers and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any facility-related issues.
  8. Develop and implement emergency response plans to address any facility-related emergencies.
  9. Keep accurate records and documentation of all facility maintenance and repairs.
  10. Train and supervise facility maintenance staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve facility processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives and goals.
  13. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in facility management to ensure best practices are implemented.
  14. Uphold company values and promote a positive work culture.
  15. Travel to different locations as needed to oversee and manage facility operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management Or A Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Facilities Management Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Manage A Large And Complex Facility Like Harbor Freight Tools.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facilities Management: A Facilities Manager At Harbor Freight Tools Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing And Maintaining Large Facilities, Preferably In A Retail Or Warehouse Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations: As A Facilities Manager, It Is Important To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Building Codes And Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Safety Within The Facility.

  • Experience With Budget Management: The Facilities Manager Will Be Responsible For Managing The Budget For The Facility, Including Maintenance And Repair Costs, Equipment Purchases, And Vendor Contracts. Previous Experience With Budget Management Is Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: The Facilities Manager Will Oversee A Team Of Maintenance And Custodial Staff, As Well As Coordinate With Other Departments And External Vendors. Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Manage These Relationships And Ensure The Facility Runs Smoothly.
