- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to protect the company's assets and minimize loss within designated area.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any suspected theft, fraud, or other criminal activity within stores.
- Monitor store operations and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, taking proactive measures to address them.
- Train and educate store managers and associates on loss prevention best practices and company policies.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and other external partners to prevent and address theft and other criminal activity.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of store processes and procedures to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to loss prevention incidents and investigations.
- Manage and train a team of loss prevention associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in loss prevention to continuously improve strategies and tactics.
- Act as a liaison between upper management and store teams, providing regular updates and recommendations on loss prevention efforts.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including presenting reports and findings to senior leadership.
- Continuously evaluate and improve store security measures, such as CCTV systems, access controls, and alarm systems.
- Respond promptly to any emergency situations or security breaches within stores.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop action plans to address any identified risks.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection Management.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Loss Prevention And Investigations.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities, With Experience Managing And Training A Team.
