
Area Loss Prevention Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and implementing loss prevention strategies across multiple store locations to reduce and prevent theft, fraud, and safety incidents. - Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and protocols to protect company assets, including inventory, cash, and equipment, across multiple store locations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and create plans to mitigate those risks.
- Collaborate with store managers and district managers to educate and train employees on loss prevention best practices.
- Monitor and analyze store metrics and data to identify trends and patterns in theft and fraud, and take appropriate action to address and prevent these issues.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, and safety violations to determine root causes and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and technology related to loss prevention and make recommendations for improvements.
- Partner with law enforcement and legal teams as needed to address and resolve criminal activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as security companies and industry associations, to stay informed and enhance loss prevention strategies.
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Communicate regularly with company leadership to provide updates on loss prevention efforts, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.
- Create and maintain accurate records and reports related to loss prevention incidents and investigations.
- Train and supervise loss prevention staff, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to loss prevention and ensure company compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as human resources and operations, to implement company-wide loss prevention initiatives.
- Continuously review and improve loss prevention procedures and protocols to adapt to changing business needs and industry trends.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Best Practices, Including Inventory Control, Theft Prevention And Investigation Techniques.
Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Provide Leadership And Guidance To Store Associates On Loss Prevention Procedures.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Assess Risks And Develop Strategies To Mitigate Loss.
Proficient In Using Technology And Data Analysis To Identify And Address Potential Areas Of Shrinkage And Develop Action Plans To Improve Overall Store Profitability.
