1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and programs to ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, and merchandise in all Harbor Freight Tools locations within assigned area.
2. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential risk areas, and recommend solutions to mitigate losses.
3. Train and educate store managers and associates on loss prevention policies and procedures, including theft prevention, safety protocols, and emergency response.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in store operations and procedures.
5. Monitor and analyze loss prevention data and metrics to identify trends and proactively address issues.
6. Conduct internal and external investigations, including interviewing witnesses, reviewing security footage, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all loss prevention incidents and investigations.
8. Lead and develop a team of loss prevention associates, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in loss prevention and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
10. Participate in company-wide initiatives and communicate loss prevention updates and policies to all employees.
11. Collaborate with store operations and human resources to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
12. Act as a liaison between Harbor Freight Tools and external agencies, such as law enforcement and insurance providers.
13. Travel to various store locations within assigned area to conduct site visits, trainings, and investigations.
14. Respond to emergencies and incidents as needed, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
15. Uphold the company's values and promote a positive and safe work environment for all employees.
