- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures for multiple retail locations within the designated area.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to prevent loss and mitigate risk.
- Train and educate store management and associates on loss prevention policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze store data and trends to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address loss prevention issues.
- Investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and other security breaches in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with store management and corporate teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Conduct internal investigations and interviews as needed to gather information and evidence related to loss prevention incidents.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all loss prevention activities, including incident reports, investigations, and training records.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in loss prevention technology and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with store management, corporate teams, and law enforcement agencies as needed to report incidents and provide relevant information.
- Lead and supervise a team of loss prevention associates, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Travel within the designated area to conduct store visits, trainings, and investigations.
- Foster a culture of safety and security among store associates, promoting a sense of responsibility and accountability for loss prevention.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and investigations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve loss prevention strategies to ensure the safety and security of our stores and employees.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Investigative Techniques And Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Theft And Fraud.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Loss Prevention Programs And Policies.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team Of Loss Prevention Associates.
