- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and reduce shrinkage.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability.
- Monitor and analyze store and employee performance data to identify trends and patterns that may indicate theft or fraud.
- Train and educate store employees on loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Conduct investigations into suspected internal and external theft or fraud, following proper protocols and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with store management to address and resolve loss prevention issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to loss prevention incidents.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Conduct physical security checks of stores and warehouses to identify and address any potential security risks.
- Communicate and coordinate with law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve loss prevention procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead and develop a team of loss prevention associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide security and safety initiatives.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and uphold company values and standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Loss Prevention And Safety, Including Osha Regulations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Trends And Develop Effective Strategies To Mitigate Loss.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Manage A Team Of Loss Prevention Associates.
