- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's objectives and drive cost savings.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating and securing contracts for goods and services.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and anticipate their procurement needs.
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient purchasing of goods and services.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and update relevant systems and databases.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor junior procurement staff.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient procurement operations.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and projects.
- Stay updated on industry and market trends and provide insights to the management team.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Procurement, Preferably In The Oil And Gas Industry
Strong Understanding Of Strategic Sourcing And Contract Negotiation Processes
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders
Proficiency In Procurement Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Ariba, And Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards.
