  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on heavy duty equipment and vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  2. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of heavy duty equipment and develop effective solutions.
  3. Utilize technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex problems.
  4. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
  5. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of work orders and minimize downtime.
  6. Continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies and advancements in heavy duty equipment and vehicles.
  7. Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers regarding maintenance and repair schedules, progress, and any issues or concerns.
  9. Complete all required training and certifications to maintain a high level of technical expertise.
  10. Participate in regular team meetings and provide input for process improvement and optimization.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
  13. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its values of hard work, dedication, and technical expertise.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Heavy Duty Technician Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate A Basic Level Of Education And Understanding Of General Concepts.

  • Completion Of A Recognized Apprenticeship Program: A Heavy Duty Technician Must Have Completed A Recognized Apprenticeship Program In Heavy Duty Mechanics To Gain Hands-On Experience And Technical Knowledge.

  • Valid Driver's License: A Heavy Duty Technician Must Possess A Valid Driver's License To Operate Company Vehicles And Travel To Different Job Sites.

  • Good Mechanical Aptitude: A Successful Heavy Duty Technician Must Have A Strong Mechanical Aptitude And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Diagnose Mechanical Issues Effectively.

  • Ability To Work In Physically Demanding Environments: Heavy Duty Technicians Are Required To Work In Physically Demanding Environments, Often Outdoors And In Adverse Weather Conditions. Therefore, They Must Have The Physical Stamina And Ability To Work In These Conditions.
