Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Geophysics Or Related Field: A High Level Of Education Is A Crucial Qualification For A Geophysicist / Rock Physicist (R&D) - Ai/Ml Quantitative Interpretation At Halliburton. A Master's Or Phd In Geophysics, Geology, Or A Related Field Would Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills For This Role.

  • Proficiency In Ai And Machine Learning: As An R&D Position, This Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning Techniques. Candidates Should Have Experience With Programming Languages Such As Python Or R And Be Familiar With Ai/Ml Software Tools.

  • Solid Understanding Of Rock Physics Principles: A Successful Candidate Will Have A Solid Understanding Of Rock Physics Principles And Their Application In The Oil And Gas Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Seismic Data Analysis, Well Log Interpretation, And Reservoir Characterization Techniques.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Geophysicists / Rock Physicists In An R&D Role Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data Sets And Apply Advanced Mathematical And Statistical Techniques To Solve Problems. They Should Also Be Able To Think Critically And Creatively To Develop Innovative Solutions.

  • Experience In Oil And Gas Exploration And Production: Halliburton Is A Leading Company In The Oil And Gas Industry, So Experience In This Field Is Highly Desirable.
