  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product and its users to inform design decisions.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to create user-centered designs.
  3. Use creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges.
  4. Create intuitive and visually appealing designs that align with our brand and product vision.
  5. Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve and iterate on designs.
  6. Proactively identify and address potential usability issues in the design process.
  7. Work closely with engineers to ensure design feasibility and provide support during the development process.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design and user experience.
  9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers.
  10. Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
  11. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  12. Continuously strive for excellence and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.
  13. Represent Gusto's design principles and standards in all aspects of design work.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Or Related Field.

  • 3+ Years Of Experience In Product Design, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Tech Environment.

  • Proficiency In Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, And Invision.

  • Strong Portfolio Showcasing A Range Of Design Skills, Including User Research, Wireframing, Prototyping, And Visual Design.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
