
Senior Product Manager, Embedded Payroll

- Lead the development and launch of our embedded payroll product, ensuring it meets the needs and expectations of small business owners.
- Drive innovation and constantly seek ways to improve and simplify the payroll process for our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing to develop and execute product strategy.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and preferences, and use this information to inform product decisions.
- Define and prioritize product features, create product roadmaps, and manage the product backlog.
- Work closely with engineering teams to define and communicate product requirements, and ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technology advancements related to payroll management.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to gather customer feedback and use it to drive product improvements.
- Ensure timely and successful product launches, and track and report on key product metrics.
- Represent Gusto at industry events and conferences, showcasing our embedded payroll product and promoting our brand.
- Act as a subject matter expert on payroll processes and regulations, and use this expertise to guide product development.
- Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the product team and across the organization.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In The Payroll Or Human Resources Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Embedded Systems And Technology, With A Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Managing Embedded Products.
Proven Leadership And Management Skills, Including Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Developing Product Roadmaps.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
In-Depth Knowledge Of The Payroll Industry, Including Compliance Regulations And Industry Trends, To Drive Product Innovation And Improve Customer Experience.
